Creating Your Desired Life
You know that you want to be more, feel more, experience more, but where do you start to create your desired life? You're no longer content to just ride the train and go wherever the tracks may take you. It’s time to get off everyone else’s train and design your own path for where you want to go. The first step is to become clear about what you want to feel within yourself, and what you want to experience in your life. Remember, you are the creator of your life. Through your self-awareness you have recognised there's more to who you are. You feel it deep within you, and your soul is calling you to move towards your authentic self and your souls’ purpose. So what's next?
When we know that we want and need more clarity on our journey, it can be difficult to step off the runway of life and disconnect from all that distracts us or drains our energy and attention. However the only way to connect with our true self and understand our soul-purpose is to move away from the noise of life that clutters our mind and wears our body down with exhaustion.
I have always found the most effective way to ground myself and step into the energy of my soul is to take a walk outside, barefoot on the grass or sand. I go to nature, where the energy is pure and unobstructed by the toxic energies of our working life and other people who can become energy drainers. It’s not that we need to take an approach of being separate to others. When we create stillness within it enables us to be more receptive and open to tapping into the Divine loving energy. This Divine essence is within everyone and in nature but we are not always vibrating at the same energy frequency for healthy or meaningful connection.
Another effective way of shifting away from our busy mind is to engage in some form of physical activity such as walking, swimming, yoga, gardening or whatever is our favourite pastime. It’s a simple way to distract the minds’ focus and create calm and re-connection with ourself. Essentially what we are aiming to do is to free ourself of our monkey-mind so we can make space for daydreaming, imagining and ideation. In this space we can hear the voice of our Soul and tap into what resonates within..
Ask yourself - what do I want to feel? What do I want to experience right now and in the future? Where am I headed and is it in the direction I want to be going? This is how we create clarity. It doesn’t need to be more complicated than that. For now, avoid leaping into writing out your goals and plans, as this takes you straight back into your head again. It's better for you to let go of your busy mind and tap into your heart and soul. Feel what you want to feel. Notice what is happening in your body. How do you prefer to feel? Slowly you will discover that you are becoming clearer about what you want, and you will be able to articulate this for yourself in your thoughts and in your words. Just keep it simple.
When your energy increases and your experience of feeling good lifts, you will become more receptive for allowing love and abundance to flow towards you. When you are ready to ‘allow’, it means you are ready to receive the goodness that life has to offer. This is not the time for ‘forcing’ things to happen. Your personal energetic vibration (influenced by your thoughts, feelings and intentions) is what you are going to attract more of, so if you are feeling stressed or anxious then do what you can to calm the body and the mind.
The key is to slow down. You literally need to physically change your energy so that your mental and emotional energy can mirror a calmer state within, There is no need to rush to achieve a calm and mindful state of awareness. Take your time and allow the energy of your mind and body to shift at their own pace.
When we are calm we are in a state of receptivity and it is easier to be clear about what will best serve us. As we become clearer about our purpose, we can create an energy of allowing, clearing the energetic obstacles on our path so there is room for the new energy and what we intend for our life. This is how we can utilise and synergise the balance of yin and yang energies within ourself, for the purpose of creating and manifesting what we desire in life.
