Everything we experience in life is a result of the way we see our reality and what we choose to believe is there or not there. So why do we always choose to see only what we believe is missing in our life? We see there is not enough happiness, not enough money, there's no loving relationship or a job that will bring us enough satisfaction. We moan about our partner, we complain about the family, we resent the mess in the home, and the lack of time to do the things we really want to do. In so many ways we live every day as if we are living in a deficit, and we give up hope, believing that we will never have a life that will ever get better than the way it is now. So is there hope of a better life, of true love, happiness and abundance?
Creating change can feel challenging, particularly when our energy is low and we are not inspired about our future direction. That feeling of stagnation or being stuck in a rut can be enough to cause further procrastination and the belief that life doesn't get any better than this. Sadly this is a rather self-defeating attitude.
Despite our best outward appearances, we can all suffer from procrastination, self-sabotage and being stuck. So what can we do to break the cycle to create forward change?
A message from the Divine: Are you feeling heaviness in your energy, a sense of stagnation? Perhaps you have become momentarily disconnected from your heart and your sense of purpose. How do we reconnect with our true self and our purpose when we feel so much chaos within and around us?
Change is inevitable in life. It’s why we are here, to experience opportunities for soul growth. However, when we resist change and we put more effort into staying the same, we become like blocked up drains that prevent the natural flow of living energy and love in our life. One thing is for sure, growth does not happen when we choose to permanently stay in our comfort zone. Growth stretches us and is uncomfortable, and if we have been stuck or blocked for a long time, clearing the heart, mind and body could be a more painful process than if we listen and act when we first feel the call. For this reason, many of us resist change, and as a result we end up living on the edge of life, never quite being our authentic self.
All of us will experience significant change in our life at some point. There may be triggers as a result of a change in a relationship, loss of a job, the death of someone close to us, an illness or significant injury, or an impactful event that’s occurred in our personal life. The change may have been anticipated, or it may have occurred suddenly and unexpectedly. Either way, it's human nature for change to feel incredibly uncomfortable and disconcerting, usually because what was previously recognisable as our personal reality has now changed permanently.
With the start of a new year, are you experiencing the onset of significant change? Has it sparked in you a desire to question if you are doing what you love and whether you need to re-evaluate your choices ?
