Life has changed with the coronavirus and many of us have now moved our office to home for an unknown period of time. How can we make a healthy transition and still stay connected? Business owners and entrepreneurs have probably got this all sorted. However, as a newbie in this space, in Week One I've discovered a few tips that can help make this a more successful transition. Establish good habits:
Staying connected to increase inspiration, motivation and mental wellbeing. Some of us are happy in our own space, and energised in the quietness of our own company. However, others thrive on connection for inspiration and motivation. We are social beings, and so connecting with others is important for our mental and emotional wellbeing. If you are feeling isolated or lonely without your colleagues close by for that quick chin-wag, coffee-break or office walk-about, schedule a few minutes during your day to connect with a 5 minute phone call, or catch up over a video conference call for a team huddle. Be smart with your time. This is a great opportunity to practice your organisational skills, as well as your communication skills. Your workspace:
Lastly, exercise self-compassion and kindness toward others during these unusual times as we manage the restrictions we are experiencing during the coronavirus pandemic. Using common sense for your health and wellbeing will help to keep your spirits raised and ensure your productivity whilst working from home. It's also important we stay connected through alternative means, so we can continue to support each other and maintain a sense of hope and normalcy. What WFH tips have you discovered this week that work for you? Rebecca Gabrielle Life Coach & Spiritual Guidance Counsellor #workingfromhome #productivity #stayconnected #behealthy #staypositive #bekind It's when we feel stuck and it feels as though we can no longer see the trees from the forest, believing there are no more viable options, that the pain of our inner discomfort and mental anguish can take us to the brink of 'sink' or 'swim'. At this point we realise, enough is enough. Now is the time to take action, even if that is to ask the question, what next?
One of the most important lessons I have learned is looking at life through a different lens to what I have always been accustomed to doing. It’s difficult to change what is well embedded and familiar. Often, we are conditioned from an early age to think, feel and see our world in a particular way. Our upbringing and our environment can have a significant influence in shaping our perspective and the way we see and interpret people, places and events. Our perception of life is truly a gift to ourself. Our reality, our experience of life, is how we think about it. Two people can be in the same scene, experiencing the same event, and have a completely different perspective, with different interpretations of what is taking place. With different perspectives, and alternative meanings, it can either open or close doors to new possibilities and opportunities. It all depends on how we choose to see and experience our world. Do we see a greater vision with fresh opportunities for growth, expansion and learning? Or do we see only obstacles that limit our options? Have you experienced moments of confusion in your life? Have you felt low in energy and enthusiasm, with a loss of direction and self-confidence?
Seeking spiritual guidance and emotional support is not an admission of defeat or submissive surrender. It’s an act of self-love. Sometimes life can feel tough, challenging, and the way forward is not always clear. We can feel fear rise up and we may not know what to do with it, so we suppress it or act out in ways that doesn’t serve us well. As a result we can experience sleepless nights, bouts of anxiety and even illness and injury. Self-love is self-care. It’s about recognising when we need support and then doing something about it. There are times we may need a leg up, someone to talk to, someone we can trust to listen and understand more deeply how we are feeling. And there are times we can benefit from spiritual guidance to help us see, feel and understand the soul lesson we are experiencing and how we can move our way through it. With a card reading and soul coaching, you can learn to recognise the signs and guidance that God, the angels and spirit guides are giving you, to help you let go of what’s holding you back, remove the mental and emotional blockages, begin the process of healing, and start fresh on your path to health and wellbeing. We are all here to experience life and do the inner work of soul growth that leads us toward love and happiness. We are not here to be perfect, and someone else cannot live our life for us. However we can certainly benefit from the wise counsel of the Divine. If you would like a personal tarot & oracle card reading or a coaching session to receive spiritual guidance and support for your current circumstances, then please private message me or email Rebecca@livingwithspice.com I am a happy to answer any questions to assist with your initial enquiry. Your life, your happiness and your wellbeing matter. Rather than accept stagnation and unhappiness in your life, choose to experience more love and let go of the burdens you have been carrying for so long. 💕🙏🌺 Rebecca Gabrielle Intuitive Spiritual Guidance Psychic readings ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ www.livingwithspice.com @livingwithspice @rebeccagabrielle444 #selflove #spiritualguidance #cardreadings #soulcoaching #support #clarity #newbeginnings Sometimes it’s difficult to know the difference between our intuition and the thoughts that occupy our mind. In our busy lives it’s common to be preoccupied by our thoughts, as we focus on our mental list of ‘to-dos’ and the next problem to solve. We often think and rationalise our experiences from our mind, to give meaning to our life. It’s where we process, analyse and categorise information and form our beliefs. It’s how we make decisions to take action and move forward to achieve our goals and dreams. But Is this the best way to make decisions in our life?
In any given day we are capable of having an average of 60,000 thoughts per day. Our mind is where we store recurring thoughts that make up our belief system about who we are, other people and the world we live in. Our belief system is what drives our behaviour and influences our choices and decisions that create our reality. The power of the mind is so great that it can enable us to dream big, take risks and achieve what may seem impossible. However, the mind also has the power to dis-able us and create a reality that will have us believe we are limited and that our world is one in which we must survive in order to live. As time goes by I am feeling myself settle in ... into my breathing, into my body, my mind and my soul. There is a deeper calm that is making itself present more consistently these days, creating a different kind of rhythm, despite the storms that come and go each day.
I am discovering a new version of myself and I’m feeling centred, grounded. The noise in my mind is quietening to a murmur in the background. Is this me? We cannot do better unless we are prepared to face our own fear!An excerpt from "The Power of Soul Loving - A Spiritual Guide to Love and Freedom" (chapter 4) It can feel particularly intense when we are confronted with a significant life change that gives us reason to re-check our values and what is important in our life. For many people, the thought of change can be frightening, challenging and unsettling. However, we have a choice as to how we approach change. We can embrace it with fear and trepidation, or we can embrace change with a sense of excitement, adventure and wonder.
It’s the human condition to want to avoid what we perceive as uncomfortable, painful and risky. Many people interpret change as taking away something that they know and is therefore secure, rather than seeing the possibility that what they are doing or believing is no longer working in their best interests or helping them to grow. For this reason, many people resist change. When I initially made the decision to step away from my familiar life, and change my focus and direction, it was a scary choice. When we feel we have experienced too much pain, it’s often the powerful catalyst that drives us toward change. Everything we experience in life is a result of the way we see our reality and what we choose to believe is there or not there. So why do we always choose to see only what we believe is missing in our life? We see there is not enough happiness, not enough money, there's no loving relationship or a job that will bring us enough satisfaction. We moan about our partner, we complain about the family, we resent the mess in the home, and the lack of time to do the things we really want to do. In so many ways we live every day as if we are living in a deficit, and we give up hope, believing that we will never have a life that will ever get better than the way it is now. So is there hope of a better life, of true love, happiness and abundance?
Creating change can feel challenging, particularly when our energy is low and we are not inspired about our future direction. That feeling of stagnation or being stuck in a rut can be enough to cause further procrastination and the belief that life doesn't get any better than this. Sadly this is a rather self-defeating attitude.
Despite our best outward appearances, we can all suffer from procrastination, self-sabotage and being stuck. So what can we do to break the cycle to create forward change? A message from the Divine: Are you feeling heaviness in your energy, a sense of stagnation? Perhaps you have become momentarily disconnected from your heart and your sense of purpose. How do we reconnect with our true self and our purpose when we feel so much chaos within and around us?
